still not a song, that sets flame to my soul

I remembered rachel yang was playing the keyboard for zone service a long long time ago. Back then, I was really amazed. I was really captivated by the sounds produced and how the pianist managed to compose such melodies. I was really in awe back then.

But now, I can play what I used to hear. What was impossible for me previously, now I can comprehend.

However something is still lacking. I still can't quite put my finger on it. I have not yet heard a song that sets flame to my soul.

My tutor once asked what was my preferred genre of music. I answered "The ones I play."
It's good to listen to songs on the CDs, maybe it's just me, but something is lacking.

It's just boring to listen to songs.

Similarly, it's boring to observe worship and not participate.

I am aiming for my fingers to be used to set souls on fire. To renew passion. I know that my fingers are beautiful and wonderfully created.
What about you, dearest reader?
Have you or have you not heard a song, that sets your soul ablaze?

pavement

A man died and insisted on bringing cling on to his gold when he went to heaven.
An angel saw him and asked "Hey! why are you carrying pavement?"

time to sleep

Was there a time where you found something so fascinating that you couldn't keep your eyes off?
Until one day you realised that you can understand that "fascinating" stint. From then on, it gets boring.

I saw the love story/viva la vida cover on youtube today. I remembered I was so fascinated the fist time I saw that video. Upon subsequent viewing, it gets boring. The pianst was great, and I don't think I can play that well as him yet.

But it gets boring soon enough.

I saw the climax of the song. I saw how well the song could be played. That's all that there is to it. It hits a ceiling soon enough. If I could say this, the pianist bought the song to it's full potential.(That was the BEST cover on youtube btw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KfH2BY5pdLw ) (I WAS REALLY IMPRESSED)

But that's it. It couldn't go anywhere higher. That's it. It hits a dead end once its reach it's fullest potential.

People would say stuffs like: "It's really magnificent!" "wow this is the best!" "Superb playing!"

I saw a dead halt. If only there was a way to break this ceiling.

To listen we first need to hear
