Don't we just love to have a superhero in our lives? I saw a poster today and it said "Superhero doesn't exist in real life".
That is indeed true. Superheros does not exist in real life. However what takes the places of superheros are heros. We all have heros in my life. We all have someone we look up to.
Perhaps you, reading this may disagree with me. You argue that you do not have anyone you can look up to. Well then I say to you, I would like to be your friend.
Heros impact our lives. I have a few heros in my life. What about you? Don't look away. I'm talking about you. Who is your hero? Do you have someone you can trust? Do you have someone you can talk to? Do you have someone to share your heart with? Again, if you do not have someone, I would like to be your friend. I am serious.
Heros come in many shape and sizes. I would like to be a hero to someone. I would like to extend a helping hand whenever possible. At times I may feel reluctant, but I would just like to help someone. This means giving up your seat on the bus/train. This means helping that old lady buy a packet of tissue. This means going the extra mile for someone. This means waking up at 9am to attend your friend's baptism.
We all can be a hero to someone. It really isn't that hard. We just need to extend our hand. Yes. Just reach out your hand towards them. I do not care how rich/poor, blessed/wretched you are; you still can be a hero to someone. Heros touch the life of others.
You are VERY capable of blessing someone. Would you, because you've read this passage of mine, go and bless someone? Go. Let's do this together,
At times we feel inadequate. But let's just try. I'm in this together with you. You are not alone.
Be blessed, you who are reading this post.
