I don't really like gambling. In fact, i detest it. Sometimes you gamble more than money away. You gamble things that are precious to you away. Sometimes you lose things that matter to you the most.
I never had good experience with gambling. No that I gamble, but i never had a good perspective of it and most probably never will.
You win when you gamble. You take risk. Daring to take risk a trait of a successful man. Gambling shows how intellect you are. You calculate the odds of winning. You push your mind to its limit. The feeling of victory is incomparable when you hold the winning lottery ticket. You know the people will flock around you with your new found riches. You gamble, you take risks; you are bold, you are a man. You want to strike it rich with chances. You use this as an excuse for giving those around you a better life.
If this is your thought, then yes, I will have nothing to say towards you. You are indeed your own victor. You indeed hold the reins to your own life. You indeed are your own master.
However, somehow yet, God still calls for you.
Gambling won't destroy you fully. It will just only destroy those around you. Sure sure, you may disagree. I am not asking for you to be in unison with me. I'm just telling you that You have a hope.
Sometimes we laugh it off and think that laughter is the best medicine. Sure laughter is great. I like to laugh. But yet still, you can laugh all you want and the problem still remain.
I have gambled unknowingly with money once. And perhaps it's just me, but the feeling is terrible. Yeah, perhaps it's just me.
You don't need MORE money to be happy. You don't need MORE money to rejoice. You don't need MORE money to love.
I would love you just as you are. Still you have a hope. Still, you are hope to others. Still, Go calls you. Still, would you listen. Still, would you be still?
Be blessed, you who are reading this post.
